Chocolate soufflé

Ingredients you will need for
4 servings.
1 lemon Jelly 1 oz. chocolate buttons(this
is optional) 4 oz. plain chocolate 1/4 large can evaporated milk Thick
cream(this is optional)
1. Tie
a double band of greaseproof paper round the outside of a 5 -6 inch soufflé
dish. The paper should come 2 inches above the rim of the
dish. 2. Dissolve the jelly in the pint of hot water. leave to cool. 3.
Place chocolate (broken into pieces) with 4 tablespoons water in a basin over
a pan of hot water. Heat until chocolate is melted. Leave
to cool. 4. Whisk the milk, chilled if possible, until thick. 5. Whisk
the jelly, when almost setting, into the milk. 6. Fold in the melted chocolate,
mix well. 7. Pour into prepared dish, leave in a cold place to set. 8. When
set, remove paper, decorate top with chocolate buttons or whipped cream, as liked.
